Travelling to the dark side of germany…. just kidding- to the east side of germany, is almost like a ritual for us. Each year we’re going to Felix “Ossis” hometown in Thüringen. The last trip for just a weekend was great, but accidentally we didn’t get any footage. We were at the hospital twice at two following days. The first time because Tommy got a blood poisoning and the other day Adrian twisted his ankle on a mean rail spot. Both of them ended up in wheelchairs, but it was quite fun cruising around with them!

This year we drove there with six people in two cars, using our iphones as walkie talkies.

We started the first day with a small handrail gap… Not really smart as a spot to start with. Cool sidefact: Wickal stomped his first 4-stair ollie! Boyah!

The days after we went to some spots around “Schleusingen”. Nasty sidefact: Tommy and Axl both had to take a dump at the same spot, and they did it both in the same bucket…. YAK!

The last day we went to Erfurt, a bigger town some kilometers up north. The weather was supergood all the time, and the city itself is really nice to walk around. We ended our day at a spot up a hill, from where you can overlook the whole city. Nasty sidefact#2: Alex spontaniously decided to have major stomach aches and had to puke in the end. Tommy did the same at night back home… greetings from ehec!

Saturday evening the crew, except for Axl and Tommy, took a taxi to the next disco- which meant a 15km drive to the next village. Normally you would expect a disco to be open at a saturday night. But not in east germany. So we had a funny sightseeing tour for 50€ in a taxi…

Though we continued our tradition of at least two people getting sick during the trip, it turned out better than we hoped. So see ya next year and enjoy some good ol’ eastern germany footage in our video!
